Well I thought I would give a morning jog a try instead of early evening which is when I normally do it. It has certainly made me feel a buzz that I have done it. I have enjoyed this week but how do people then take it week 4. That's the bit am dreading. Anybody got any tips to help!!

I was dreading to too...but honestly it was fine! Just plod round and keep it slow and you will be fine...I've just started week 5 and have 3 different runs to do...think one is an 8 minute run...leading to a much longer one! Nervous xx

Well done for finishing week 3! Why are you dreading week 4? If you managed the three others, you can nail this one too! Just one tip : believe in yourself, take one run at a time, and muzzle the gremlin (ok, that makes three tips, not one).

I hate getting up early in the morning, but I've come round to early runs because otherwise it's way too hot for any exercise other than return trips between the garden chair and the fridge :)

Got one more run for Week 3. I think it is a mental attitude that I need to break. At one time never thought I would do 8 1 minute runs. I think its because this weeks seems relatively short compared to Week 1 and 2. I did enjoy this morning though. Thanks for your support

I've just finished week 4 this morning, I was apprehensive too but you just have to try it!

I didn't complete the last run of W4R1 but I've managed to get through w4r3 without dying which seems to be my post run mantra these days. "But did you die?" 😂

Just try it out and if you don't do it first time, try again lol

I will. Thanks for that. I think because it says you can do couch to 5k in 9 weeks I kinda put pressure on myself when really if I do it I do and if I don't then try again.

I always think "if I can't do this one ill do the last one again, then this run"

I usually can't finish the first lot of a new week but the second and third runs seem to go fine.

I was dreading week 4 as I could only just run for 3 minutes, let alone 5 but it has been fine. I have one more left to do and then week 5. Having the same thoughts about that too. Somehow, the training we do in the preceding weeks is enough to take us that little bit further.

Good Luck 😀
