W1r2 - I took your advice....

I slowed the pace down right from the start as suggested and found everything much easier. I really enjoyed it too. I was a bit out of breath but not too much, I think the main thing for me is my muscle's getting used to this as that is what gets me before breathlessness, especially those in my lower legs/near ankles and yesterday I felt muscels I never knew existed lol ;-)

I really enjoyed being outside in the fresh air it was a great feeling, can't wait till I can go further and explore other areas :-)

Thanks for your earlier advice it really helped x

Well done! Slow and steady is the way. Do what Laura says, take your rest days and stretch out after runs and you won't recognise yourself in a few weeks time!

Well done. Slow is good. Keep at it and you'll be fine.

Your post sounds like something I could have written!

Slow -> can breath -> can appreciate surroundings -> feel great about running, even with a few aches and twinges.

Well done, and let us know how you get on.
