This was the contents of my Westminster Mile goody bag, my first one! I only got a wrapped cake at the Race for Life last year. Good contents but why the hell is there a mini toothpaste and noodles!!!! But I'm not complaining :-)

An odd assortment, don't you think? In my other races I've had plenty of health products and sports drinks and the like, but toothpaste and curry flavoured noodles?

Weird....

We'll weird, my 'new' buddy was drinking the banana milk and thought it was off, until we saw it was made with coconut milk, accounting for the strange taste!

Just went to the website to get my time not the 11.20 I thought but 11.47, not too disappointed as first time and something to hopefully improve on next year!!

So Rob, the more experienced, what was your time? In the 7s or 8s no doubt :-)

My time? 8.25 on the watch and 8.33 official. No idea why, particularly since my Garmin said I covered 1.67km - so more than a mile!

"Maggi mee, fast to cook good to eat"

If you were in Singapore in the early 80's that phrase would be as memorable as "p-p-pick up a penguin" here.

It is an odd item for a running goodie bag though.
