Sad few days

Just had a few day in Hythe Hampshire to say goodbye to a much loved friend. So w9 was put on hold ,felt so uncomfortable this morning with all the eating and sitting around but couldn't face running so put boots on and went out into the Countryside. The sheer peace and quiet and with birds singing made me reminisce about all our happy time.

Good for you. Mindfulness is needed at times like this. Concentrate on thinking about the good times, and be thankful for the things you shared with your friend while you were able to. Try to let the good stuff overwrite the sad stuff. Hard, I know, but a worthwhile exercise, and a lovely walk in the countryside is definitely the best way to do it. Hope you feel happier soon. x
