Hello all
Just wondered if anyone put insoles in their trainers and if so which ones and were they any good. I am looking at more cushioning in my Asics gel pursuit 2 as the insole in them is very thin?

Hi Stephen,
Yes, many people put insoles in their trainers. They (hopefully) use insolves that fits their specific feet. The fact that somebody on the internet likes a specific brand or model doesn't mean they fit your feet.
Sorry. This is probably not the answer you were looking for.
Go to a running shop and take your shoes with you Stephen you need to be sure that you're shoes are big enough to take an insole without causing your feet to be cramped always allow for extra space in the hotter summer days when your feet will swell a bit from the pounding they will get. The best insoles I ever bought were £2.99 from Lidl which I used in my court trainers for badminton!!! Its not always the more expensive ones that are best it seems. You could also consider running cushioned socks, More Mile, Nike, Puma etc there are loads on the market to chose from.
