Just thought I'd bring the next Aldi running kit sale date to you. Pretty much everything I run in is from Aldi. Really good kit. The only thing of theirs that I hesitate to buy are their trainers. Anyone tried them? Are they any good?

Thanks. I could be done with a phone holder and maybe a new jacket so will pop in. Thanks for the reminder.

My husband had the aldi trainers for starting off with. They are now his gym trainers and have done him fine. They have never split and are still in good condition.

Great. Thanks for the tip!

Never tried any Aldi stuff but will definitely try the clothing... will stick to my adidas trainers as took me so long to find ones that suited me :-) Thanks for the tip x

I think they are similar in quality to Lidl Sports clothing which seems good. I bought a running vest from Lidl last time but unforunately the small size drowned me so had to return it. :(

I love aldi stuff. It's in my diary!!!! No I haven't tried the trainers. They look pretty good. I was tempted in the autumn but then went for gait analysis and some brooks. I would be wary. Tend. to think you get what you pay for and wouldn't want to risk injury. Feet are v important!!!

I completely agree with you. I didn't have too much of a problem forking out for my Brooks, although it was still painful, but of all the kit we need to buy the footwear has to be the most important. ....

Exactly. Not worth the risk is it. They may be fine but wouldn't want to find out the hard way that they aren't!!!

My lidl stuff is fab! My bra top is ace! It is billed as a running bra as opposed to a fitness crop top, one of which I also bought but am not that fussed about

Socks are excellent, the capri pants are really lovely quality for their £6.99 price tag. They look really good on

Aldi wise their jacket is ok but no pockets! Tsk i have their long sleeved running top which is good and looks like new. I also got a warm, zip neck warm Running top, too hot for running but fine for immediately afterwards. Their black pink running socks are good but not as long lasting as the lidl ones
