My PT says I should start running for 3mins, sprinting for 1min intervals to help me reach my next goal. Anyone know of any podcasts that I could use?

Not a podcast, but you can programme intervals into the free Runkeeper app.

some of the sport watches have an interval feature. My garmin does it beeps and vibrates when needed.

You could also start with the c25k+ Speed podcast - the intervals are one minute.

Yes exactly! These podcasts, also with good old Laura, are fantastic, FREE, and will keep you busy for ages. They are a bit deceiving as they seem slow at first but stick with them and they will give you a good work out

I agree with the suggestions above - runkeeper or a sportswatch.
As for the interval, you'll soon notice that 60 seconds is actually quite a long time, so while you want to run fast, be careful with the all-out sprinting (or you might not last 60 seconds).
We do interval training as part of our PT sessions, so I know I can sprint for 1 min but I also know it's really hard work! I've downloaded Runkeeper and will see how the C25K+ podcast goes. Now all I need is a playlist for long, slow, distance. Glad my daughter is planning to keep me company on these runs (on her bike)
Thanks for the help, guys.
