Ditch those L plates

W8R3 was feeling good at the end of it so decided to go on to do 5K. Right near the end of the run, I saw a discarded L plate lying by the side of the road. Felt very appropriate :) (though don't ask how long the full 5K took!)

Great achievement, but the L plates need to stay on for some time yet in my opinion. After 19 months I still consider myself a new runner and have already made the common post grad mistakes of pushing too hard on occasions. A slow and gentle increase in the demands on your body is the best way forward. Good luck.
