W9R1. Ditching GPS apps.

I've been using an app to monitor my distance covered since week 4 and last week I covered 3.74, 3.78 and 3.77km in the three runs and I got a little annoyed with the realization that I'm barely going to cover 4km by the end. So heading into the final week I decided to not use such an app, simply run for 30 minutes and give all I have for that period.

I enjoyed the run much more not thinking about distance because the fact I can run for 30 minutes is an amazement to me given where I started from.

Good idea! I’m on W6 & don’t worry about PBs & distance. I just follow the app and complete each run, & I feel fitter and happy with each.

Good for you! Tracking can be a very mixed blessing indeed! Runs are so much more enjoyable without tracking.

Good move. I didn't measure any runs until I'd completed C25K as I knew I'd get hung up on stats. Happy Week 9 running to you!
