Just ran whole 5k without walking for the first time, desperate to get under 40mins, and fitbit software conked out at 4.6k!!! Sooo pissed off!!!! Am calming down a bit now and pleased that I ran the whole way, but might peeved at the software malfunction. Weird thing is-it kept recording my time but stopped the distance. %£&%£+#!!!!!!!!!

Oh I am hearing you loud and clear Heggers. I went out on Sunday and was chugging along quite nicely until my hip fell off ( well not exactly fell off, but it was agony )

I had been going about 15 minutes and my Run keeper told me I had done 1.1km in 1.1 minutes and even told me I had got a PB , Pah ! :-D xxx

Wowzers 1.1k in 1.1 mins. That's impressive. Ha ha!!! Got an old fashioned PE stopwatch ready for next time.

Gosh, that's weird, my RK did exactly the same thing on Sunday...

No wonder your hip fell off at that speed!

Hope you've managed to get your hip back in place and functioning properly again xxx

but surely if you know the distance was 5k and it kept recording the time, you have both bits of information?

I managed to work things out from the splits and just estimated the last km. I wanted it logged on the software properly. According to the map I ran through someone's living room through a row of terraced houses! Over it now. :-)

Great that you did it...Well done!

Well done. Lovely achievement even if the software was pants! Think there must have been a glitch in the matrix somewhere as I was having problems with MapMyRun too. Not trying to log anything but it wouldn't let me see any of my workouts >( Seems fine again today so hopefully yours will be fully functioning for your next run :)

Must be something weird about RK on Sunday, my print out showed me running down the middle of the river and running nearly 1k less than my garmin. ??

Ah , it wasn't just me then with my super speedy , faster than sound 1.1k in 1.1 minute :-) xxx

There must have been something in the ether!!

Your first 5k - a real milestone, well done.

You can work on the time in time, keep at it and you'll reach your goals.
