A week of firsts...

Well I signed up for a 10k race. It's for race for life so nothing too serious. It seemed daft to sign up for a 5k when I do that most weeks.

Anyway I thought I had better run 10k so on Tuesday I did. I think I am still high from the achievement. I just want to get my time down to closer to an hour.

Today I volunteered for the first time at Parkrun. It was bloody brilliant ! Had a great time though was very very cold.

I went out for a run afterwards to make up for no running. Was most enjoyable.

Have a great weekend of running people.

Well done loubee, 10k is great and as slow rob says you have plenty of time to work on your pace before your race for life. I felt so sorry for the volunteers at parkrun this morning it was freeeezing! They do such a great job for all of us. Must do another turn myself soon x :-D

Well done. That's 10K in the bag. It won't be long before you are sprinting round. What time are you aiming for in the race (or is that a secret)?
