Well, after a couple of weeks procrastination I finally got out last week and got to week 1 run 2 (yay!). Gotta say, I'm hooked already, but this weather is really hampering progress...so frustrating!! I don't mind wind and rain but I'm not risking the frozen snowy pavements..grrr

I did my W1, R3 today and it was slippy. If we get snow where I live, as predicted, at end of the week, not sure I want to run in it. Definitely harder if it's not dry isn't it!

Yak Trax or ice grabbers from Bettaware. Any others worthy of mention folks?

We are all in the same boat Sean, noses pressed to the window, waiting for breaks in the rain, hoping for sudden thaws. We got it bad !

Yes, really frustrating and annoying - being on a plan and so determined and then the weather putting a spanner in the works - its like the slippery slope (no pun intended) - but better to be safe than risk this get fit lark ending up with something broken!
