.............. in my hands! It was so cold this morning: -1.9 But I did it - end of wk 3 and the sunrise was magnificent. As I finished my run, the sun was blazing straight down the road into my eyes and the music reached a crescendo. Oh, it couldn't have been better. (but I'll wear gloves next time!). And its miserable and snowing now, but this morning was something else. Into week 4 now with some trepidation. Just cannot believe I've been doing this for 3 weeks and come so far. Good old forum.

Never thought about needing gloves but had my hands tucked up my sleeves when I was walking!

i invested in some nice snuggly running gloves ,best investment so far :D it is surprising how quickly time passes doing this and how quickly we adjust to running 3 times a week it just becomes the norm , that is an acheivement in itself so really well done keep at it :D

I can't stand running in gloves, so tuck my hands into my sleeves til they get too hot and I have to free them

Sounds like a great time you had out there today. It's amazing isn't it what fun can be had outdoors on a freezing cold day. Calories burned and fitness built. What a day! I hope the rest of your day is as productive

Yep, great day - can only go downhill from here! Actually my hands were still cold when I'd finished - but never mind. Hope for some less severe weather next week (love your title 'misswobble' - sure I'm going to have loads of those along the way). Have a great day too.

What a lovely end to a great run :) Hope your hands have warmed up ;)

I bought some great gloves from Aldi, they have a magic finger thingy so you can operate your touch screen phone etc without taking them off. £2.50, a bargain, but I have worn them exactly......once! Far too hot. I'm amazed at this running stuff, when I was a swimmer I was always cold, now I laugh at 1C!

Hey Buffy, what a great post , sounds like you had a really good run this morning.

My hands were freezing and I bought some gloves, but for some reason I dont like wearing 'em ! I do what Miss W does and tuck them up my sleeves till they get warm.

I was always one who felt the cold, but now I am the complete opposite :-D xxx

This exercise lark seems to do nothing but good for everyone. Yes, it really was a stunning 'run' - but I obviously wasn't running fast enough to warm up! - but I don't care about that. Every day's been a success so far.
