Running outside is....

so much better!! I'm supposed to have started W6 today and have so far been running on a treadmill until last week when I braved 2 runs outside in the Peak District. Well now we are back home my friend has asked me to go running with her so this morning off we went. I ran non stop for 34 minutes covering 4.3 Km. I just found running outside (now I'm back home on the flat) so much better as I was able to pace myself, slow down easier when I wanted to and break the run down into mini milestones ie I'll just run to the next lamppost, corner etc and before I knew it we had done the loop and I was back home. I'm going to follow the podcasts for future runs as I don't want to get carried away and injure myself but quite frankly I can't believe I did it!! :)

Thank you :)

Fantastic! I'm an 'outdoor running girl', and you will NEVER find me indoors on the dreadmill.

It can be a tad moist; rather chilly and, on occasions, a bit muddy, but it is THE way to run.

Keep going, and stay safe.
