Vision Problems After Running

I've just done run 2 of Week 7 and found it quite tough. Worst of all I felt rough straight after, I had a blurry spot in my vision that took ages to go away and even now I feel a bit weird and headachey. Anyone else experience this?

This sounds like you could do with a trip to your GP. Just to check up. Maybe you're going a bit too fast too soon?

I haven't.

First thought is were you properly hydrated?

Second thought is that if this is out of the blue and you were hydrated you should see your dr or optician. if you don't see anyone and it happens after the next run then definitely make an appointment.

A quick Google suggested blood sugar issues. But come to think of it I don't think I've had as much water as I usually do today, plus I woke up with a bit of a cold.

We have a saying on this forum and it goes "if in doubt check it out". Your gp is the only one who can totally put your mind at rest. I would have a word even if it's a phone call to the duty doc tomorrow. That way you will know you have the all clear for your next run.

Realfoodieclub is absolutely right. Please contact your GP. Intermittent vision problems when I was pregnant were related to blood pressure and cerebral blood flow. You need to get it checked out to put your mind at rest.

Yes

I just started last week on second run got visual disturbances. Blood pressure checked out ok, turns out was a migraine and was due to reflection glinting on car mirror/ windshield causing light sensitive , motion migraine .Ran on a dull day and made sure I drank before I ran (only been doing this 3 days now and repeating the first week)
