A great, positive news story on the phenomenon that is Park Running. All shapes, all sizes, all abilities out having fun.
(Thanks DottieMay and Slookie for bringing to my attention).

did my first Parkrun in Harrogate this morning! Walked some of it, but I got there! 40 mins!
Thanks for posting this! Great.
Thanks for this. My friend sent me a text http day it was on TV, but I didn't get to it in time and it's not on iPlayer (yet?) so I was really happy when I saw this post.
Hey MarkyD Did Newbury this morning ... way behind you though 321st but I wasn't last
Hi Shelley, sorry I did not see you. Well done for your 2nd ParkRun and first at Newbury. I never enjoy the little hill near the end, but I hope that we were all friendly. How did it compare to Coventry?
No Worries Mark ... The rain was coming down fairly heavy and THAT hill at the end !!!! I was doing the C25K+Stepping stone and when Laura said stop running at 30mins I'm afraid I did (for a bit anyway)
I'd be a bit unfair to compare it to Coventry given the weather and the fact that when Laura said to slowdown there, I wasn't battling said hill and felt able to carry on ... but still a very good experience and a new determination to run all the way.
I'm intending to try the Basingstoke and Reading ones too so next time I do Newbury I should be well tuned to run it fully
Thanks for posting, it captures the atmosphere perfectly!
And thank you Marky for finding it and posting the link! Didn't have time to go searching myself as I was already late leaving the house.
There look like great fun! Too bad they 're not here.
Great!! I believe we now have 98 Parkruns in Australia.
Lovely video I should be doing week 6 run 2 at Nostell, Barnsley, Doncaster or Rotherham next week.... it'll be my first and I'm nervous!
