Arm band for iPhone

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting an arm band to put my iphone in when running as I'm currently holding it in my hand and have noticed some tension in my arm. Does anyone with really large upper arms have one? I'm not sure which make to get and I want one that's definitely going to stay in one place whilst I'm wearing it! Thanks all :)

I have large arms I just got cheap arm bands from ebay for both an iPod and an HTC and do up ok, but I am not a huge fan of arm bands, have you thought about a running belt?

No actually. Would that be better?

I like my running belt because I have easier access to my phone, such a faff with the arm band (couldn't see the screen or operate it when strapped in place). Also with the running belt I wear it under my top so I don't have my valuables on display

I like the sound of that Spoonie. I spend a lit of time looking at my phone during a run. So.... Which running belt for someone with an enormous waist?!!!

I think they are all pretty generous. I am a size 18 shhh don't tell any one and got one from decathlon. But all I was looking at seemed adjustable and generous - sport direct have a couple

I got a flat waist pack on Amazon and it has a generous waistband.

Holbops I've just ordered a new armband as the one I bought must be designed for massive upper arms. I ended up tying the velcro strap around itself. The one I've just bought looks like it has more adjustment but I have a moto G Motorola Moto G Adjustable Sports Fitness Jogging Arm Band. The massive one was a SumacLife Gray Mesh Workout Sports Armband Case for Samsung Galaxy S5 / Note 3 / HTC ONE M8 / Sony Xperia Z2. Even the large one stayed in place once tied but I have also resorted to putting my phone in a bumbag.

Hi Holbops, I have a Y-Fumble for phone, keys or whatever. It's stretchy so you can fit lots in and if it's raining I put the phone inside a little plastic bag first. It comes in different sizes. Hope you find something that suits you. :-)

Thanks everyone. Some really good advice here. I ran near a canal last night and was worried I might let go of my phone! I was hoping that the running would help with my weight but have been going nearly a year now and not lost a pound! The improvement in my fitness makes up for it though

I too prefer a running belt as it is too fiddly to operate the iPhone on my arm. Mine is neoprene so light weight, stretchy and waterproof.

Hi holbops - I have a little cheapie Avon armband that phone/MP3 and key go in ... just checked their website and they don't seem to have it anymore :( I'm a size 18/20 (sshhhhhhhhh Spoonie!) and it fits just fine, although it doesn't have a plastic window so I have to set my MP3 to play and get going.

Hope this helps.
