Arm bands....

Has amyone, or does anyone use the armbands which hold a mobile phone or iPod? Are they any good? And comfortable? In need of something like this for my phone, but I've damaged one phone with condensation build up and worried it may occur using this arm band contraption when I get hot?

I use a cheap one I got from the pound shop & am very happy with this. no condensation, although if I think it might rain I have to cover up the top of my walkman, just in case, as the bit the phone goes in is just a pocket without a flap over.

takes a couple of runs to get used to but now I wouldnt run any other way.

I have tried taking my phone aswell & had that tucked inside my bra but have had to stop doing this as I got condensation under the screen.

Not had a problem at all. I have been using one for my i- touch for 3 months now and had no problems. They are not expensive either. Only time I don't use the armband is in the rain then my i touch goes in waterproof pocket of my running jacket.

I use one from argos but amazon do a good Belkin one. No condensation damage to my ipod and I also carry it in my bag with wet swimming things after exercise with no trouble.

I use a Karrimor one from Sports Direct - cheap at £3.99 and very useful. I don't have all this exciting new technology so my old mobile goes in the pocket, for if I die and someone needs my ICE contact :) or if I fall off the pavement and break an ankle :) (I'm a very positive person). Then my old mp3 player goes in the elastic strap thingy, and my tee shirt sleeve covers the lot. I haven't had any issues with discomfort or getting too hot, and the layers of neoprene (or whatever) seem to insulate my mobile from potential condensation. It's worth a try - get a cheap one first and see what you think.
