(Tuesday) My return to full time C25K and S&F may cause some confusion to newcomers. I may be an unwelcome return to some of our purists; if so, c'est la vie.
Today's opening title and comments thereon:
The communication issue can possibly be overlooked by this site; responses not immediate but accorded when people are free.
The similar taste in food is not a problem. Bring on the Jammie Dodgers, Vimto and coffee cake. I'm told Poundland is old hat and 99p stores is the way forwards. Is it good enough for Nan though?
Travelling in packs is equal to our communication issue. We may not see each other but we pull together.
The pinto, ocarina, shopping trolley and weather balloon still pop up on my runs but I'm not as dependent on them as I was. I've a bit more time for scenery - mainly watching out for overhanging trees.
I'm back.

Second Lieutenant misswobble good to hear from you! Thanks for your work with the topiary shears - it all looks very decorative now. Can you do anything about the physiotherapist who knocked me as I 'ran' past his house at the weekend? I was doing my best but after 25mins I'm no longer speeding forth in danger of being pulled over by the police.
A multi coloured horse - (sort of bigger scale tortoise shell cat colour). Lots of them in Western movies with Injuns. It's the one Captain poppypug (ents and crochet div) chose from the livery stables when she was promoted.
Ah, you know I was just going to ask about that. Thought it might be a Ford Pinto, allegedly the worst car ever made, so glad that's cleared up.
Welcome back Dozzer, in your Skinny-the-pooh incarnation! Seriously though, I am sorry you've been having tough times. Hope you are finding some solace in running.
Wow. I've heard of a Fiat Punto but not a Ford Pinto. Skinny the Pooh is a bit of a lie, but you know, get there eventually.
Running is great for forgetting problems for a while. I never thought I'd be in a sentence with the verb 'to run' unless it was preceded by a negative.
Can't pretend that I ever understand much of what you post, Dozzer, but I am glad to hear that you are back. I know you have been having a tough time so hope the running helps.
Thanks Ullyrunner. A lot of people have sent me support - it's meant a lot to me. Hang in there with the comprehension - your fave snack can always make the cut. Let's face it violet creams entered!
Thanks Second Lieutenant I_will. The portable harp! I've got a good feeling about today's run knowing such assistance is there for those hill climbs (approx 10 degree - not mastered uphill yet).
I am contemplating creating the 'Harpcycle'. A huge harp with bike wheels and pedals that I can play at people ~ chase them if they try to flee. I could play you up the hills that way. Chase you with music you dislike to encourage increased pace...
Cracking idea Second Lieutenant I_will. Do you reckon you could patent it? Let me think, initial move faster music - that rap rubbish-y stuff. That'd get me moving faster .
Second Lieutenant KittyKat007, said footwear sounds like an excellent idea. Are they self-propelled or do I still need to put some movement into it? Any equipment available to assist forward movement in water? Sinking isn't going to win Captain poppypug (ents and crochet div)'s triathlon.
My dearest Sir. It is good to have your esteemed presence amongst us once more. I trust all is well, my good man. Hearty wishes to you; at your service, always.
It is good to see you back. You have been in my thoughts. Scout bunnies were dispatched this morning to check the way ahead is clear - they have arrived back. No reported sightings of shelob though they fear there may have been a zombie horse on the horizon. I shall don battle dress once it's dry and confirm their reports.
I do love the scout bunnies - they're so reliable. Can't decide whether zombies are the way forward for me with the running. Maybe I'll stick to what I know for a while. Which zombies do you use?
Yey Dozz you're back *quick chorus of Oh Happy Day*.
Tis a tricky thing deciding what to do after reaching the pinnacle of achievement that is graduation. Have settled on a weekly schedule of 2 half hour runs and a longer run at the weekend. That's the plan but who knows? Things crop up... Best laid plans....etc
Feeling the need to eat lemon meringue pie now, so I'm gonna start cooking. I'll save you a slice for the end of your run
Onwards ever onwards m'dear. You can borrow my Observer Book of Trees to take on your next run, or maybe Hackenthorp's Guide to Creative Topiary would be more useful?
Lemon meringue, sounds good! The books would be good, I have one in the yard which needs some work doing on it. I'm sure Second Lieutentant misswobble would be able to create a masterpiece - trolley, weather balloon etc.
Glad you're back in the thick of it!Hope you are doing ok after last week?
I don't know what you're on about half the time but i enjoy the banter! Have a brave JR doggy George who will be great to set forth and round up indians for you! At the mo hes valiantly trying to round up my guinea pigs but frustrated by the battle fence seperating him! whine whine!
Permission to eat referesher lolly?(they're great!) even though i didn't go to running club? just TOO hot!!
Hey, thanks for all good wishes. George can join the club too if he likes. Make sure he doesn't attack the scout bunnies though, Lieutenant Spoonierunning would be very cross. Do eat the lolly, we eat dodgers.
