After graduating on Wednesday (yay!) I'm feeling a bit lost! I'm not sure whether it's best to start building up to 10k or should I just be trying to increase my speed for 5k? Are there podcasts for going up to 10k? Feels like lots of options and not sure where to start!

Congratulations, again. Do both! Your 5k times will benefit from improving your endurance, so increase your distance or time on one run per week, run at a steady pace. The recommended weekly increase is 10%. If you do speed intervals for one of your other runs then your third run will be just for fun. This is the regime I used to build up to 10miles and it all happens surprisingly easily. Throw in a Parkrun every now and then to get an accurate measurement of your progress and the challenges and rewards keep coming.
Thank you Ianodda, I'm excited about the next step! Though speed intervals sound scary! I've had a search for podcasts for 10k but didn't find anything good
