Swimming

I'm not a particularly big fan of swimming , but while here in turkey & having a lovely big pool at my disposal I've swum 30 lengths everyday , I've been suffering with a sore hip before I came out here & you know what after a few swims it disappeared , all the little niggly pains have as well sure it's the swimming , wish I could swim as often at home .

  • Somehow it's different on holiday -when you swimming in sun, then wee lie down beside pool, then wee drink -oh time for something to eat -oh maybe read book now It's a hard life

Much harder back in real life --clothes off , swim , clothes on , raining outside , need to get tea , cook tea, wash dishes , quick Hoover, work / children need to be fitted in .....

But seriously glad it's helped hip and you have had lovely holiday

  • I know , shame life can't be like it all the time c

  • Sounds like that swimming is doing you some good! I wish I was there, it sounds lovely. You won't want to come home will you? x

  • I'm off to Majorca on Monday Rockette and am going to follow your example of swimming every day. Hopefully it will sort out my hip too! X

  • I am sooooooooooo jealous, but glad you are finding relief :)

  • Good to hear you are feeling better Rockette. I think we would all benefit from more swimming

  • yes... swimming is great - keep it up when you're back if you can - even with the rain outside... which makes me think - dry climate is a big help too!

  • And how about your promise, are you swimming "at home" :) ?

    best!
