Good distance despite the speed and alcohol!

Just managed an 11.6km run today. The time and pace were rubbish, but the run was not bad considering I polished off 1.5 bottle of wine yesterday. Only 2 more 10k practice runs until the Woman's Bupa 10k run on Sunday in Glasgow. Any one else doing this?

The drinking? Mmmmmmaybe........ Ok half a bottle of wine does me, it'll take all year to get through all the wine I brought back from France last time I went at that rate!

The run? Nope, too far away for me but have fun.

If it's the 10K race this coming Sunday maybe consider this your taper week and decrease your mileage so you save your energy for Sunday.

Well done managing to run after a bottle and a half of wine!

I was hoping to do it - the 10k not the 1 1/2 bottles of wine - but been dogged with one lurgy after the other for weeks and weeks, but my goal is to do a 10k or two so hopefully next year? Have fun and enjoy it !

I can't do excess. I'll stick to my 2 glasses and 5ks. Can't say I'm not impressed though!

I couldn't do the 11.6 km, but would love to give the wine a run for its money! *lol*.

All the best on Sunday!
