Wow! I did try it last Wednesday but I was running (????) late and so stopped at 15 minutes... I was on a treadmill and getting terribly bored! Today the moment I stepped out of the door it started pouring - for a minute I thought of going to the gym and do it on the "dreadmill" - but couldn't face 25 minutes on it! So down to the lake... wet and cold at the start but I did it - and run in the rain for the first time too The first 5 minutes were hard (and the route is uphill, very gently but steadily) then I got into the pace (slow) and could have managed more than the 25 minutes. Will keep to this and try to increase the speed next time! My running buddy (in the photo) seems to enjoy the rain more than I do
I also got a new pair of shoes so now I have to go on... can't justify the expense if I stop running!

Well done on sending week 6 into the history books. It should be fairly straightforward from now on in but week 7 may start to feel a bit relentless - Laura says this on the next podcast. It's a real sense of achievement though to have got this far and, of course, you are now officially a runner. Good luck with your next run and best wishes.
