Like a bunch of people this week, I finished week five -- including the dreaded run 3! I struggled a lot, and my entire body feels tired now, but I'm really excited to have completed a 20-minute run. When I started, my goal was to be able to run for 20 minutes at a time, and now I can do it!
And to everyone who posted about a w5r3 run this week: reading about your experiences with it really helped me through mine. And it's nice to know there are people out there who understand that this feels like a huge accomplishment.

WooHoo! Well done you! It's funny how many of us are on the same run, but maybe that's because the panic sets in at W5R3 and makes everyone more vocal! Enjoy the feeling
Well done, fellow, ex-week fiver! I finished it yesterday and fully share your sense of achievement - and what a sense of achievement it is! You've achieved your goal and pretty soon you'll be exceeding it!
It is funny how there's a whole load of us on the same run this week! Very well done to you.
Brilliant ain't it? Wwll done you. Weekb6 looks easy but do not underestimate it. It's tough! I find the longer runs soooò much easier! Xxx
Well done - I guess the reason it feels like a huge accomplishment is because it IS a huge accomplishment. More to the point - YOU accomplished it. And that's what it's all about - accomplishing things you once thought you couldn't. You deserve to feel chuffed after you've done the work to achieve this. Now, please treat Week 6 with respect - it's possibly the toughest on the programme and going back to intervals is not a soft option - this catches people out at times. Stick to slow and steady and you will win through. Good luck with your next run and very best wishes.
