Week 2 completed, stamina wise not really a problem, discomfort in my calfs and killer stich in my side on last run. Any suggestions about calfs and stiches?

Have you done calf stretches after each run? You can even do them after the 5 minute warmup, just standing with your toes on the kerb, heels hanging over and drop your heels towards the road (hopefully that makes sense).

For stitches, week 4 Laura recommends a breathing technique. Breathe in deeply, pushing your stomach out while you do. When you exhale, relax the stomach. Not sure if it helps per se, but I've found a few rounds of really deep breathing help me when I feel a stitch coming on.

Congrats for finishing week 2! Good luck for week 3.

Done calf stretching before 5 min warm up walk, didn't think about doing them before the run, do them religiously after, really tight, might be something to do with heel strike as "Laura" encourages me to do.
