I have just done my first run in 5 weeks. At first this was because I was ill twice in quick succession and then I just got plain scared. What if I couldn't do it, what if I no longer deserved that graduate badge? So I put it off. I am happy to say that I ran for 35mins and am a silly billy for being so afraid. But for all of you aiming for that graduate badge, it really is a mental challenge, stick with it xx

Glad you are back running! x
You do deserve that graduate badge Real life means taking the highs and the lows. The main thing is you have got back out there
A long break like that, especially due to illness, would make someone a bit scared coming back to it. That's human nature. Be kind to yourself and listen to your body and you will be fine with it all. Good luck and best wishes.
