I donβt know where my head could possibly have been this morning but it appears it wasnβt on my shoulders.
Seeing a wind and rain window this morning, I seized the opportunity to get out for my next run. I sprung quickly into action. Running gear already on, it was just a matter of selecting a playlist and pressing the right run button on the app....
Quick chat at the door with husband and son returning from a windswept tennis match and I was off.....
Returned happy 35 mins later with W6 done and dusted. π
Showered π§Ό, had lunch π₯ and just sitting down to post run on the forum when with shock and horror π² I realise Iβm about to post about doing w6r3 and Iβve completely missed w6r2!!! π±
How did that happen?!
Iβm convinced today should have been my final week 6 run. As Iβve run week 6 before it didnβt show as a βrun to doβ on the app, so I missed it completely.
I humbly apologise to the forum for inadvertently forgoing a run. I know itβs not the done thing, but Iβve done it π€, sorry π .
If Iβd struggled today I guess I may have twigged sooner, but I was in a happy place at a happy pace - blissful ignorance, dreaming of my first Parkrun after all the wonderful advice I received in yesterdayβs post.
So I guess thereβs nothing for it but to chalk this one up to experience and promise not to do it again π. DD xx
Oh, Iβm sure we missed a run once so did it the next time, you are doing great Iβm glad it was such a good run and no apology needed but as you have forgiveness is given
I had to go back in the plan after some time on the IC, and I know what you mean - I had to write it down to make sure I knew where I was, until I caught up. Never mind, one less run to do, lol π
Donβt land on the IC it can be painful π! Keep clear, donβt skip runs (π note to self) and avoid it at all costs. It took me months to climb off it last time!
I did skip a week very early on ( week 3 in January because the weather was sooo horrendous) I was going to repeat week 3 but gave week 4 a go and I managed to do it π. Starting week 7 tomorrow π³. Only found this site last week . Itβs really good having people understand about the whole c25k thing. Still canβt believe I m doing it albeit at a π pace ....... but apparently according to all you lovely people , thatβs π.
I m no where near 5k , more 2:5k in the time I actually run , but itβs a blooming sight further than I could do on 1st January 2020π³.!!!!! Hopefully by the time the clocks change in March I will be able to do 5 k . If not I will try for Easter .& if that s not happening , then I will aim for May Day !!!
I know itβs moving the goal posts but itβs not giving up ππ€·ββοΈπββοΈ
π You're keen as mustard! Well done, you could always do the Week 6,Run 2 as your next run if you want to? For the satisfaction of being able to tick it off. β
Tee hee...why not. You must have been ready. πββοΈππ If sometimes our inner self can put us off why not occasionally have one that pushes you forward. πββοΈππ
3 Hail Mary and 1 Our Father should sort you outπ

π€ π π. I like it. But ..... I feel guilty, so going backwards and doing the missed run. π€ I think Iβll get the all clear if I do that π.

There is NO guilt like Catholic guilt π

Iβm not, but I am a sucker for a guilty conscience π±π€
