Completed my first week 2 run last night and for some reason found it easier! I think that finding my old sports bra has stopped me from trying to mess with my clothes whilst running :) And a good old fashioned alice band kept my ear phones in and stopped my fringe from stabbing my eyes. My legs below the knees are grumbling today though so may need to do more stretches after running (jogging! not sure what I am doing yet). I find everyone's posts really helpful and have even started recognising some of the runners in Hungerford.

  • Oh, you are one of the runners!

  • Wel, I think calling myself a runner is a bit of a stretch :) but I am panting my way round Hungerford so if you run there and someone made a noise like a strangled cat at you then that was probably me trying to greet you :)

  • Well done on getting to week 2. Good luck with the next two runs in this week. Best wishes.

  • Thanks, I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will remain a manageable increase - run 2 was good but I had been cycling the day before so it seems to have made my knees more grumpy. THink gait analysis and some proper shoes is the way to go! Are you also on week 2? How's it going?
