Attempted 2nd outdoor run now, and again did not manage to complete the week 8 run 2. However, I did calculate that I did about 2.5k before the gremlins attacked again. Not a loose shoe lace this time, but covering a 20m piece of very uneven ground. Was worried about going over on this, so walked it and could not get the mojo back after that. Did walk/run for the rest of it and completed 5k in 40.30. So all in all, am happy with that. Next time out will check for no loose shoe laces and a route that is not rutted. Have also found a run fit group that meets on a Monday evening, so going along to give this a go tomorrow.

Well done on getting outdoors and giving it a go. It's hard work but worth the effort. Good luck with the running group. Best wishes.

well done caro. that's a huge distance really. i've decided i should start over outside or at least start from v low week. i still haven't run again since last Tuesday. i think the target of graduating made a big difference so i need to reprogramme! keep up the good work.
