Mamajed tuning in for the first time! 10 weeks into the programme and tomorrow will/should be Week9Run3. Hope ya'll be cheering on the sides as this "never runs anywhere" obese 56 yr old gall comes home! What an amazing programme this is - I'm crying already!

Oh bless you doll!! Another 56 year old here. There are one or two of us, and older of course, so you're in good company. I lost my fat though. Dumped it for good by literally running my butt off. You'll do the same if you keep running. My butt is now roaming about in the ether, never to be seen again

You have a posse at the finish shouting and screaming at you to shift your ar*e and get past that finish line. C'mon, c'mon you're nearly there.

Thank you so much misswobble! 10 weeks ago reading the posts by 50+ yr olds, I began to believe it may be possible for me too. Thanks to all 50+ who posted - it was so mind-blowing! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be able to get this far. Weight is coming down too - methinks every lb off might make me run faster ....better.....longer!

Bye for now.

Zya you Mamajed! The crowd is gathering around the finish line to cheer you over and have a party. Never doubted you could do it but still surprised that you ever started. Real guts at the beginning but now you look the part with a lot less wibble-wobble. I suggest a glass of wine in the bath when you get bask to base.

Yeah - giving this my best-shot! Not sure how it all began or how I kept going, but I'm nearly there. Thanks for posting!
