Hi, these are podcasts that you download, load onto your phone, put your headphones and trainers on and off you go! See nhs.uk/Livewell/c25k/Pages/... Those of us who have done it are located all over the world!

As well as downloading the FABULOUS Couch25k podcasts from this site, you could also have a look on your local council's website for details of their nearest beginners running groups. Doing the C25k podcasts is fine by yourself as you have to listen to what Laura is telling you (she's the marvellous lady that will get you through each week of the programme)
Don't hesitate to do this programme Karen. You'll never regret it. It's brilliant. All of us here are doing it or have done it. You'll get lots of support
It's one of those things that you do by yourself, as stated by Gingernut49. Congratulations on deciding to start the programme, you will certainly get fitter and there is a lot of support on this forum board. Good luck with the programme. Best wishes.
