Completed W5 R2 this morning and the surprising outcome was...sore arms. Last section of the run was uphill so I must have been using my arms more than I realised! They're fine now but I was so glad to hear Laura tell me the run was finished. Already picked another route for R3 on Friday. Ah the joys of living at the top of a whopping great hill
Sore arms??!: Completed W5 R2 this morning and... - Couch to 5K
Sore arms??!
sounds like you're working hard, doing it on hills, you'll be steaming ahead by the end it's all flat where I am which is a bit rubbish...
I Will Be Fit and Nattynat - my route is all flat and I'm still finding it hard! I'm dreading any hills and there are a couple of slopes not hills in the Park Run I'm aiming for early next year. Think I may be attempting the Park Run route before actually signing up so I don't end up rolling down the slopes instead in front of 100s of people. Sometimes my arms are sore but it never lasts for very long. I'm ALWAYS glad to hear Laura tell me the run is finished too. Anyway, hope R3 goes well!
I practised the parkrun route a couple of times first and found it very useful Cos i knew I could prob run to 3k and then I was happy to walk the rest But on the day I just kept running ! Good luck
you'll get there sexybexy, don't think too far ahead! When I started out, week one was pushing me and you find your stride and you go with it. Focus on the week you're on and before you know it you'll be running for 30mins and feeling great for it! I live just outside of Lincoln, now we do have Steep Hill in Lincoln.... I don't think so!!!
