Not watched or used that one myself, I often do Tae Bo (Billy Banks) on the weekends when I don't run to keep me ticking over. I've got a couple of Billy Banks DVD's and the one I use the most is "This is Tae Bo" which is one of the newer ones, the main workout is around 50 minutes long. I was given a copy of David Haye's Box & Tone for my Birthday in October but I've not tried it yet.

I have done the 30 day shred DVD a couple of times, it's a good workout and not too long. I did fully intend to do this on rest days, but I'm a bit lacking in the motivation department at the moment. Way back in January I did do it every other day for a couple of weeks, but then I pulled something in my shoulder, I was using my daughter's 5k weights which were too heavy for me, I've since bought myself some 1k weights which are much easier.

There was me thinking a Rest Day meant rest. Shows you what I know about running...

I did it back in July / August (see my previous posts for VERY long winded and super informative thoughts and exercise breakdowns - grab yourself a cuppa before hand though!).
I did the 30DS three times a week with at least two runs on alternate days. I think this was a bit too much for my not-very-fit body though! Don't get me wrong. I really enjoyed doing it and I found the exercises challenging but do-able but listen to your body and reduce your exercise level a tad if you're struggling.
I'm going to do it again in January as I liked the variation it gave me. You can find Level One on YouTube - so maybe try that first before buying the DVD.

I did it in April, all 3 phases were on you tube back then. I managed about 28 days straight, then in phase 3 my neck and shoulders seized up as it's all upper body. But it's a good hard workout and being only 20 minutes fairly easy to fit into a day (don't ask me about the days I went running, came home did 30ds then went to the gym, I do seem to remember still functioning, must give it another go).
I didn't have any weights so used a couple of coke bottles full of water (500ml, so about 1lb weights, rather light) they did ok up to phase 3 where you have to go into push up position leaning on your weights, I had to modify that one!
Thanks beads , I've checked it out in YouTube , great idea using bottles
