If you are thinking about what goal to aim for post graduate this site might be worth a look Its fairly new and trying to list races suitable for all abilities --including park runs It's also encouraging runners with their local races to get in touch so they can add more . I know lots of sites out there but you might find a new race for you A few are tempting me but have 4 more runs to go to graduation so still thinking about running a 'real' race.

I know that there are loads of places to look for races but sometimes too many and you don't know where to start Hope you find a good one near you

I think the bit where people can add reviews of races they have run could be quite encouraging for newbies
