Still in Egypt and mixed our running between hotel treadmill and running around Coraya Bay. First time we've ran on treadmill - first time we've run in public and up hills so were feeling chuffed with ourselves. Pleasantly surprised that these running surfaces so much easier to run on compared to our grass rugby field. Hope you're all well and enjoying your runs.

Running in Marsa Alam
Sounds lovely (except the dreadmill!) but I can understand that if it's as hot as when I went to Egypt some years ago! Well done for getting out there and enjoying your runs!
Well done.
We were In Egypt on holiday last month and went out running most days as well. It does gives you good feeling knowing that at least you are keeping up your exercise . Unfortunately during our stay our training was curtailed by runs of a very different kind! hope you avoid the Pharaohs' revenge!
Ooooh I'm so jealous! I stayed at the Coraya Bay hotel a few years back and loved it! Marsa Alam was just getting going back then and Port Ghalib was just a concrete harbour with ONE hotel - I hear it's lovely now. Well done you for getting your jog on while you're away (I barely move when on holiday!).
Hi Jana. The Coraya Beach resort is a couples hotel now and we've had an amazing time here. Sadly it is very quiet because of the recent troubles in Cairo and as you will be aware this has no effect on the Red Sea resorts in terms of safety. Our room is just on the 1400 metre mark on the jogging path overlooking the sea. Not only convenient for our runs but interesting to sit on the balcony watching other runners
