Just did the 20 mins and ran to my absolute limit for today.

Pleased I did it and I really pushed myself. If it had been 1 minute longer, I don't think I would have done it. Is it good to push yourself to the limit like that, or should I be able to do it comfortably before moving on? So far the programme has been just right for me and has stretched me each week, but I don't want to overdo it and put myself off. Having said that, I hadn't even thought of repeating the week until Laura mentioned it in her gee-ing up at the end. Sometimes I find she plants negative thoughts that I hadn't even considered.

If you didn't break, it wasn't your limit :-)

Seriously, respect your rest days, listen to your body and you'll be fine.

Hey that's great, well done! Hoping to do mine on Friday.

Doesn't Laura say at the end of week 3 or 4 podcasts that it's when you push yourself you increase your fitness?

As already said, just make sure you have your rest days - and more than 1 if you think you need it.

Congrats again!

If you waited til you were comfortable with every week, C25K would take a year! as soon as you have completed the requisite 3 runs in a week, move on. I don't agree with repeating weeks at all if you have done the 3 runs. There is nothing shameful about moving on and failing. You should always set the bar higher than you think you can achieve, rather than going over old ground. It's only by pushing yourself that you get better at this. By repeating a week, all you are doing is stroking your ego by reassuring yourself that you can do the easy stuff. At the same time, the next week seems harder and harder as you have more time to think about what lies in wait for you. It's best to know that you tried and it beat you, rather than to accept that it probably will.
