Struggling to get my socks on!

Im getting lower back pain now Ive started running and struggling to get socks on in the morning. No previous problems so whats causing it?

I suspect it's an imbalance in core strength, you'll be amazed at how important core strength is when running, also cycling.

I can highly recommend the benefits of core strengthening exercises, but remember to take it steady, not too much to soon, and ibuprofen gel!

Completely agree with louisew99, I've also had problems with my lower back and have put it down to lack of core strength. I'm now doing yoga and aqua aerobics to help with general strengthening.

You're probably using muscles etc that you haven't used before and they're protesting. I got all kinds of twinges at first and never expected my ribs to hurt (must have been the gasping). It may sort itself out but if it doesn't get it checked out :-)
