Getting somewhere.....

Just did w6r1. I'd heard some say that it was hard to go back to walking breaks again and in some respects was a tougher run than the previous 20 continuous minutes one. However, I thoroughly enjoyed it and definitely found it easier. In fact I'd go as far as to say it was well within my comfort zone. Which is something I never thought I'd hear from myself!

I only hope that means that I'm up to the future challenges.

From here I have one single run left with a walking break! I'm so excited and scared. Looking at what's coming, thats the point it really steps up for me. This is going to make or break me as a runner.

I'm going to give it my all. Graduation is almost in sight... :)

I had the same experience for w6r1. So did lots of other people who replied to my post about it. I find it much easier with continuous running as I can usually find a rhythm. I am now on week 9 and never imagined I would voluntarily run for 30 mins +.

I feel sure you will not break but will graduate with flying colours!

Yes, you are up to the future challenges! Yes, the programme will take you through to your triumphant graduation! And yes, btw, you are already a runner! Happy running, and let us know how it goes :)

You are not going to break. You've come too far to break. Laura will get you through right to the end & beyond or is that to infinity & beyond.

Congrats! I am at a similar stage as you, in week 7 now, but finding it hard now there are no intervals. I think it really is a mental thing - you really know you can do it, you just need to remember that when you're out there.

i ran on one of my off days but went back to run 2 and it was harder than i thought with the walking and running constantly....i actual suspected its was a bit tougher going back to walking breaks. Im just moving on to week 6 so back to walking intervals from the solid 20 min run!

Well done to you :) x
