well i was going to start week 2 of B210K today, but ive had so much knee pain over the weekend (had to get up twice in the nights to take painkillers) so i think im going to ease back on the running to let my knee recover. ive got decent running shoes and ive been wearing a knee brace but it dosnt seem to have helped.

If the pain is bad enough to wake you up you are definitely right to rest for a while. I'm hobbling around with a painful calf today, it's been a niggle for a while, felt ok on my 10 mile run yesterday but flared up a few hours later - should probably have rested sooner. You may want to visit the doctor for advice (or a sports physio, if you can stretch to it) - I've been trying to self-diagnose as I'm skint but I think I'll see the doc if I'm still bad in a couple of days. The trouble is, although the pain is in your knee, it may be caused by a weakness elsewhere and an expert will be able to identify that.
Good luck with it - try ice-packs as well.
