5km - 25'30"

10km - 59'00"

HM - Never run!

I graduated about 6 weeks ago so I hope to get my 5km time down to 23mins and 10km to 55mins by the end of the year.

I am still aiming and training for HM. You are GREAT! :)

in reply to AliB1

Ali you got any new challenges lined up since achieving your HM this year?

Hi Phil. I have signed up for a dirty dozen race...12k over / under obstacles (think the sun had fried my brain when I agreed to that!) and just singed up for Hastings half next march....the way things are going at the mo (not great) its like starting at the beginning again and needed something to aim for.

Have you got anything lined up?

HM in August, then after that I'm going to decide between on my next challenge, which will be a Marathon or a Triathlon

Graduated last week and actually ran 5K for the first time today in 34 mins. I cannot even imagine running a 10K or HM at the moment!

Well, you just need time to get used to 5K first. But for a fresh graduate 34 min is great - I was much more slowlier :D

When I graduated it took 32 mins to run 5K, my stats are now:

5K - 24m21s

10K -48m55s

HM - 2h01m09s

I haven't officially graduated yet, today's RFL will be my first week 9 run 1. I ran 6k in 51 minutes last week though.

You are doing great! I was much more lazier at that time :D

Just so other new graduates don't panic, it still takes me about 45 minutes to run 5K. I'm going for stamina, not speed here!

It takes me 52 minutes and a few seconds to run my local parkrun 5K and I've not yet attempted anything farther than that!

I graduated about 3 weeks ago and my best 5k is about 32 mins but I usually do it in 34 mins (especially in this heat!). My aim is to do it in under 30 mins

Took me about 52 minutes to do my first 5k (a few weeks after graduating) and 100 minutes to do my one and only 10k. I have done a 5k in just under 45 minutes, but not when it was hot.

The range is really very wide, but we're all winners! :)

I graduated in February this year and kept on running! My fastest since then are 5k in 31.42, 10k in 1hr 11.56 (last weekend doing the British 10k around London) and i've signed up for my first half marathon in November!

My best 5k was 48 minutes.

Prior to graduating I did 5.58km in week 8 at 28mins 32 secs which is 25mins 38secs for the 5km.

Have just started the C25k+ Speed podcast so hopefully may improve on that.

I graduated in May. My best 5K is 34:30.. I am training for 10K with the Runkeeper "Sub 65 min 10K" training plan. It is fun to mix the slow, tempo and fast runs. Keeps you motivated.

I am yet to run a full 10K. I think it is unlikely that I will do it under 65 mins, hoping to do it by around 75 mins or less. Will know in Oct :)
