Ok I've got up had breakfast and am sorting out my music and then I'm off to Aberdeen beach for my first park run.
GULP! Is this really me? Has someone else taken over my body?

I feel like this too! Since last September I have lost two and a half stone and completed the C25K, sometimes I do wonder how this happened! It's a great feeling isn't it?!
Enjoy your run
Good luck
I hope you enjoyed your run! I just got home from my first Park Run. Also I feel the same as you, I have lost 24kg this year and would never have thought I'd get up early on a weekend to go for a run!
Well done! I did Parkrun today, I think it's my 6th, but can't go every week as I work shifts. It's the only running I do with other people; although my daughter is on C25K week 3 so have been out with her a couple of times!
Hope you enjoyed it, post you results later!
I really enjoyed it. The weather was ideal for running: a breeze and not direct sun. The sea looked great and dogs were happy on the beach. What a great start to the day. I'm waiting on my time but think I was about 31:10, my best time. I've only done 2 5k runs so I am dead chuffed. Only a few weeks ago I could only do 1 minute.
I called in on my son afterwards with fresh croissants and he served coffee. I could get used to this. My husband is away in Wakefield playing hockey for Scotland in the Masters home nation tournament so I sent him a text.
Roll on next week!
Official 31:11.
Wow, that is a good result! Congrats canidoit, I can't wait to do my next Park Run next weekend, I learnt a lot this time when I did it and next time is surely going to be better! Good luck to you for your future runs!!
