Pure and simple ... Stop looking at what's ahead and concentrate on each week as it comes. Allow Laura to set your tasks, and remain assured that the programme will have trained your body appropriately for the next challenge. Honestly, the mind-over-matter aspect is almost as demanding a lesson for your head to learn as the running is a trial for your legs!
You'll get there, don't worry. Hundreds ahead of you are proof that the programme works! Have fun and enjoy your journey.
Cheers, Linda

LMS 2110 is right. Don't look ahead and scare yourself because as you gradually build up when you do get there it will be well within your capabilities as you work your way through the programme - honest! Start slow and steady and you'll be fine. Good luck from another Linda

I ran C25K with a friend and she refused to let me tell her what the runs were, she just ran when I said and walked when I said Just take each run as it comes and don't freak out about what lies ahead. You'll really will be ready for those longer runs when you get there

I did exactly the same and put off starting week 4 for a week as I was so nervous!! Amazingly managed to achieve it with a massive smile ( even though I thought I might die in the last minute). Also, because of having the out laws staying for a week I put off w4r2 for a week too (rolling out of a blow up matress doesn't make you reach for your trainers especially 4 stone overweight looking like up turned beetle/whale). Anyhow..went out this morning and it was FINE! Can't believe it really. You really have to trust the programme! Good luck!!
