After falling into a pot hole and giving myself a sore ankle a week ago I am chomping at the bit to get back out for a run. Question is after a week off should I go back a week or pick up where I left off (week 6 run 1)? Any advice would be gratefully received.

I would try the last run you did again, and see how that goes... I had to take two weeks off near the beginning (about wk3) after a car crash then an unrelated operation but was able to pick up again as I hadn't lost any fitness.

Agreed, I had to take a week off due to a dodgy knee. I just continued from where I left off although I added an extra day as I wasn't quite ready for the next step, but if you're lucky you should be able to just get going where you were.
I had a week off after run 3 week 5 due to injury, I've just started back and started with week 6 run 1 with no problems
