Well, for the first time I ran on the flat on Tarmac to see what my distance would be. Yes it was better (3.7km in 25 mins) but the sea front in Aberdeen is fairly straight so you can see for nearly 2k. I found the surrounding interesting but the actual course a bit tedious and more to the point prefer running on the woodland track surface near my house. Next run in the woods even though there are hills!
