or does it all disappear into cyber space? I'm going to miss the Malcymeter but especially the pie chart
When does the Malcymeter shut down? Does anyon... - Couch to 5K
When does the Malcymeter shut down? Does anyone know if you can still access the 5x50 website after midnight (anyone from last year?)
Hi. It will stop doing updates tonight. the server is in Manhattan so will probably take inputs for a few extra hours. I can add an extra couple of days to let everyone add 'unclaimed' KMs (but by the looks of it, I think every last km will have been put in today)
The actual app will be there forever. Or at least until next year's Challenge ...
There is runfun.co.uk to look forward to. I had hoped to get that running in time to start tomorrow but I'm up to my ears in marking student work and it'll have to wait until next weekend. But once that gets up to speed with all the requested features, it'll be something special!
Thank you for your reply! Thank you so much for the whole Malcymeter: it transferred a normal challenge into something really good fun!!!!
I look forward to the new site, and cheers!!! (celebrating and recovering!)
TJ - I tried to log this morning's 5K run (cheating, I know) and it simply spat it back out at me Serves me right for trying to cheat!
Oh But I wondered if what we've already logged can continue to be seen and for how long...
Oh, Delia! I would never have thought you'd try cheating!
I went to look too, but noticed it didn't have a date available after yesterday, otherwise I just might have added my yoga...
Are you by any chance the kayak person?
And, are you going to do another collage? One of us all knackered and sprawled out like George42 perhaps?
No - afraid not! I did find out who it was when I went through everyone looking at the running - it was Claire Riches. That had intrigued me too!
Don't know whether enough people would want to do another collage - though, ok, I'll do a blog and find out. Kicking myself for not thinking of doing that a couple of days ago.
Hello it was me kayaking. My husband loves sailing his 23' foot Westerly but I hate it, I have panic attacks. I don't mind sailing little Toppers but I'm not very good at it so he bought me a kayak, a plastic one that is quite light. I can paddle round the harbour and join in with Gin and Tonic on the big boat after sailing. I was really pleased to take it out for its inaugural paddle during 5x50 its been too cold since though.
