This is my first time writing, finally plucked up the courage to write. It's my W5R1 today not looking forward to this seems a really big step up, but will see how it goes, legs are aching before I start or is it just in my head.

Thanks for leaving a comment. It wasn't too bad the last 5 minutes was the hardest but reading what people have said kept me going. Legs are aching now though. Good luck for your run you can do it

You just have to trust in the programme (Suzy and Olivia too!) it really does prepare you properly for progress. If past weeks have been ok, then you will be able to go on to the next. As the distances of running increase, so does the likely pounding of your limbs. Listen to your body - if it's still sore/recovering, allow yourself another day's rest. My mid weeks were the worst ... I repeated and became a bit despondent. Then I followed the advice on the forum here about resting and, when running again, to take things very slowly. It worked!! It will work for you too ;)

Have great outings for your week five runs - all of you.

Cheers, Linda :D
