Varices Questions
I am on carvedilol (
Coreg
6.25 mg 2x day) since February 2021. I was hoping and praying that with my healthy lifestyle my EGD today would show a reduction in size of varices but instead now all went up to grade 4. Needless to say, I am totally bummed out.

Flecainide and beta blockers
Dr. changed my meds to carvedilol/
coreg
to take with the flecainide. That combo made me so dizzy that I spent two days laying in bed unable to walk. I am one of those people who are sensitive to drugs and have had a hard time with BP meds also.

5 days post ablation
Blood pressure was 164/108 so took my nighttime dose of lisinopril and
Coreg
early and an hour later lower but still high at 150/95. Is this normal?

Anxiety or no?
My GP has me on a low dose of
Coreg
. He says that my bp has been boarderline for a while and he thinks it will help with my anxiety disorder. I started the
Coreg
last February and my numbers have been amazing...right at 120/80 or lower. Prior to the
Coreg
I was running high 130s/90-95.

Spiritual practice to overcome anxiety
I currently take flecainide,
Coreg
, and aspirin to keep things under control. But I am hoping with some lifestyle changes to eventually be off medications entirely.

Flecanide/Coreg After Effects
Hi all, first time post here. So I was having palpitations which were really bad lasting 20 - 25 minutes. I then also developed arrhythmia. My cardiologist did a couple of halter monitors but could not catch the palpitations, only the arrhythmia. He prescribed low dosages of 100mg Flecanide and also

Changed meds and reduced dosage Not sure where I stand
Looked at the
COREG
24 hr 12.5mg But it is still on patent and costs $300 per month, not covered by insurance. So we are trying the 24 hr version of 50mg Metoprolol (so the dose is half as much per day.) And I am now forewarned and on the lookout for possible depression.

Ablations and cardioversions and internal defibrillator
The doctor thought the
coreg
would help strengthen my heart. So I'm wondering if anyone has an internal defribrillator and what it's like? I'm wondering if my EP will suggest this as the next step. Thanks!

150 mg Pradaxa vs 75mg
When I first was diagnosed I was on just aspirin and
Coreg
but since I am female and 68 doc says I need anticoagulant. Just wish he hadn't upped me to the 150 as am afraid the risk of bleeding will be much worse.

Prednisone 20 mg raising my need for more blood pressure med in addition to beta blocker.
I am in
Coreg
12.5 mgs twice a day. It works but still allows some spiking and not keeping pressure low enough Only thing left is this water pill. I need to get my pressure normal and I don't know how rheumatologist will be able to raise prednisone to a better dose.

Thumbs up for being prepared
The
coreg
he says I need but we determined that the timing of when I was taking them could be the main cause for my exercising issues. Since I usually exercise earlier in the morning I will take the
coreg
afterwards and then 12 hours after that for my second dose. Hope this works.

Goals
I'm taking Eliquis,Lipitor,
Coreg
, Tikosyn and Plavix. I believe sometimes that less is more. I'd like to either reduce or eliminate most of the drugs other than the anticoagulants that I need due to the stents and maybe the Tikosyn. I never took ANY meds until last year.
