And this is all I do. One glass of orange juice in the morning with at least a heap tablespoon of turmeric plus half a teaspoon of black pepper and stir vigourously. Drink it all down (it doesn’t taste bad at all) and be absolutely amazed at the results. I have one in the morning on one at night.
My quality of life has improved no end, and I’m hoping not to get a chest infection this year at all. Not only is my chest clear inflammation in my airways is obviously massively reduced to the extent where it doesn’t feel like there’s any obstruction.
Everyone needs to try this.

Yes that’s what my mum and my wife say lol. They say maybe it could be a bit dangerous, but me personally I use a heaped tablespoon, sometimes a bit more and I can’t see anything online to say that would be dangerous other than that if you’re using blood thinning drugs, you shouldn’t use so much turmeric. But yes, you could use less and you would probably get the same result. It has been so amazing for me, can’t believe it. I used to wake up every morning with loads of stuff my chest and at this time of year I was just dreading getting another chest infection. I had a terrible one last year which lasted from November to February, 2 courses of antibiotics couldn’t get rid it. I up with nothing on my chest now.
I was borderline in 2018 with a ratio of 68% fev’s in the 80s but I took the test quite soon after had a terrible chest infection after a terrible virus then I had another test a few months later where my ratio was 72% fev’s in the 90s. Last year I had a terrible chest infection lasting from November to January, 2 rounds of antibiotics couldn’t get rid of it so I had another spirometry this time on a big machine and it came back as 71% fev’s in low 80’s but the person giving the test says my technique wasn’t very good so the results should be viewed with caution . But I feel I’m getting chest infections way too much and my airways never seem to be that clear. I even started to take a braltus medication that was given to me in 2018 but what I stopped taking after a while, that really seemed to help my breathing but the turmeric has worked like magic. Gave up smoking in 2016 age 43 but I was never a heavy smoker, smoking 2 to 4 a day
Thank u for ur reply MELLLL. I was diagnosed in 2004 with mild copd, straight away researched it as I'd never heard of it then.
Because of excerise, watching my diet & learning more it really hasn't interrupted my life except when I've had flare ups in later years.
It's at the moderate stage now so they tell me. At the moment I been trying out other main inhalers as the Seebri I've been on isn't controlling the cough.
I'm very fortunate in that I don't take any other meds for any other health issues.
It was really interesting to read ur report on Turmeric. I wouldn't ever stop taking my inhaler but I may try the 'Turmeric Trial' lol but a lesser amount to see how I react to it.
I do buy Manuka Honey in the winter the highest grade I can afford & seems to help me.
I've had one flare up in past year but I've never been hospitalised for COPD in the 20 years.
I use my Ventolin inhaler sometimes twice a day re this cough but I can't say I'm gasping for breath either.
Thank you & all for interesting info & topics. We learn something ey day. 👍😊
