My theophylline has been reduced

My theophylline blood levels were too high so my dose has been reduced by a third I am now too breathless to do very much. Are there anyalternatives for me

Hello ForestFreda,

Ah this is a tricky one isn’t it ? When your Theophylline was reduced ( due to high levels in the blood ) was the rest of your medication reviewed ? I guess it probably was, although if it wasn’t then there maybe something else they could offer you ?

Am thinking a change in of inhaler ? Are you able to discuss this with a pharmacist at all, or perhaps you have done that already?
