THE SCAN SHOWS BILATERAL LUNG EMPHYSEMATOUS CHANGES AND E I VIDENCE OF COPD . AND A LARMA INHAILER WOULD BE BENIFICAL .IM WAITING ON A OP SPIROMETY TORULE OUT COPD IN VEIW OF WORSING SHORTNESS OF BREATH . I HAD COVID END OF NOVEMEBER AND MY SHORTNESS OF BREATH FEELS WORSE SINCE THE HOSPILAL SAID THE SCAN SID THE COVID HAD CAUSED GROUND CLASS OPACITIES AND MIGHT BE RELATED TO THE COVID INFECTION . HOW DO I KNOW WHAT STAGE MY COPD IS .I FEEL A LITTLE LOST . . AS MY DOCTOR DIDENT EXPLAIN MUCH AT ALL ON THE PHONE .

You really need the spirometry test and then results to determine COPD staging and treatment.I am guessing that by "LARMA" you meant LAMA? That is a type of inhaled medicine such as SPIRIVA. LAMA stands for Long-acting Muscarinic Antagonist. It is a type of bronchodilator.
